Daimler and Bosch have unveiled a plan to test self-driving taxis in the Silicon Valley region, part of a testing program for fully automated vehicles designed for urban environments.

Nvidia has been selected as the artificial intelligence platform provider for the project, with its DRIVE Pegasus system.
AI Analyst, Ryan Shrout, believes that Nvidia has great advantages with its technology and will give the project "a head start no other company can match," writes Seekingalpha.
