Data: EU plans to ban Russian tourists

Remove

EU plans to freeze visa agreement with Russia during next week's summit, sources say Financial Times.

"It is not appropriate for Russian tourists to be walking around our cities. We need to send signals to the Russian population that this war is not acceptable," the source told the newspaper.

Air traffic between the EU and Russia has been halted since the invasion of Ukraine. The new visa change would mean longer waiting times and a more expensive application process for Russian tourists.
