David Hofmann has been appointed as the new CEO of Destination Eskilstuna AB (DEAB). David has been acting CEO of DEAB since October 2022.

David Hofmann has been CEO of the municipal company Eskilstuna Logistik och Etablering (ELE) since 2016. The company has achieved great success and has been awarded for its work, which has included a large number of establishments in Eskilstuna Logistikpark and Svista industrial area. Establishments that are expected to generate over 4,000 new jobs in Eskilstuna. 

– Through his drive, his ability to establish networks and to work together with employees to reach high goals, David has shown that he can achieve strong results in the long term. I am convinced that David's experiences from ELE will be useful as he, together with the employees of DEAB, builds on and develops the company to the next level, says Bertil Andersson, Chairman of the Board of Destination Eskilstuna AB.

David Hofmann has been acting CEO of DEAB for the past six months and during that short time has managed to develop good relationships with both employees and the board.

– David has the right qualities and experience to lead the company. He also has good experience and knowledge of board work and how the municipal group in Eskilstuna is managed. David has in a short time won the trust of the board and employees, and we also see that there are several good operational synergies between ELE and DEAB,says Tommy Malm, CEO of Eskilstuna Municipal Enterprise.

David Hofmann will take up the role as CEO of Destination Eskilstuna from May 8. David will also continue to work as CEO of Eskilstuna Logistik och Etablishment.
