Denmark will open its borders to people from the EU and the Schengen area from May 1 – if they have been vaccinated against Covid-19. The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this after the government and parliament agreed late Tuesday to gradually open the country's borders.

Starting in May, fully vaccinated visitors from EU and Schengen countries with low infection rates will not need to show a negative test result or quarantine themselves after arrival.
