At 4 p.m. on Midsummer Day, Denmark opened the border with Sweden, according to official information about the corona pandemic.

To travel to Denmark, Swedes now only need to show proof that they have antibodies against Covid-19, or a recent certificate that they are not infected or that they have been fully vaccinated.

The previous requirements for additional testing after entry or isolation in Denmark are now lifted.

A negative PCR test must be no more than 72 hours old and a negative antigen test must be no more than 48 hours old. Children who are 14 years old or younger are exempt and do not need to show a negative COVID-19 test.

To be vaccinated, you must have been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks. However, no more than eight months must have passed since the second injection.

The vaccine must be approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
