Tallink Silja is canceling upcoming departures with the ship Baltic Queen operating on the Tallinn-Stockholm route, tonight, November 23 from Stockholm and tomorrow evening, November 24 from Tallinn. This is to carry out necessary repairs due to the night's severe weather conditions.

The challenging weather conditions that prevailed on the night of November 23 during the voyage from Tallinn to Stockholm have meant that minor repairs need to be carried out on the vessel. Following routine checks that are always carried out after voyages in severe weather, the company has decided to carry out these in Stockholm before resuming traffic.

Passengers affected by the cancellation are currently being contacted by Tallink Silja's customer service, and are being rebooked to the company's other ships where possible, or offered alternative solutions if necessary. The company apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

According to current plans, Baltic Queen is back in normal service from Stockholm on Saturday, November 25.

According to the press release.
