With brand new owners in Aventura Rejser (Aventura Travel Group), the aim is to offer exciting trips and destinations to travelers in northern Sweden. The first destination to be launched is an autumn holiday charter to Chania in Crete with a departure date of October 27 in collaboration with Enter Air.
Travel continues to increase steadily after the years of pandemic and demand is high for both charter and scheduled flights. Detur, which is back with completely new owners after their bankruptcy estate was bought out by Danish Aventura Rejser (Aventura Travel Group), has strong faith in the Swedish market's wanderlust and now offers charter flights directly from Luleå Airport. Just in time for the autumn holidays, the first destination will be launched in Chania on Crete, well known for its dramatic nature and vast beaches, but if there is a high demand, more destinations will be launched on an ongoing basis. Detur is collaborating with Enter Air, whose large fleet of aircraft is stationed in Finland during the winter months, which enables immediate expansion of traffic if necessary.

The fact that Detur, which now has new owners and has made a fresh start in the market, is offering charters during the autumn holidays, which is a very popular time to travel to sun and warmth, is very welcome and increases the offer from the airport, says Ann-Christin Viklund, airport manager at Luleå Airport.

Aventura rejser/Aventours was founded in 2004 and operates in Denmark, Iceland and Finland with a turnover of approximately 25m euros/year. Behind Aventura/Aventours are former owners and managers from the Danish Bravo tours and the Swedish Solresor, with several decades of experience in the travel industry.
In an initial stage, an autumn holiday departure to Crete on October 27, 2023 will be launched, but if demand is high, Detur may add both departures and destinations at a rapid pace.
