In April 2019, the airline Laudamotion will begin flying between Stuttgart and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport with two weekly departures.

It is the first direct route that the Austrian airline opens from an airport in Sweden. The link between Western Sweden and Stuttgart is important for the automotive industry, but it is also significant for the growing inbound tourism from Germany.

From April 1, 2019, Western Swedish travelers will be offered a new flight route directly from Gothenburg Landvetter to Stuttgart in Germany with departures on Mondays and Fridays.
