Easyjet closes several bases – 670 jobs could be lost

The airline Easyjet will close its air bases at Stansted, Southend and Newcastle from September 1, putting 670 jobs at risk, the Evening Standard newspaper reports.

According to the newspaper, Easyjet will remove all outbound flights from Stansted and Newcastle airports, while all air traffic will be suspended at Southend airport.
