British airline Easyjet warned on Monday that operating costs will be higher than expected in the second half of the year due to additional leased aircraft and costs for crew and airports, Dow Jones reports.

The company will exceed the previous estimate for cost per available seat kilometer, which was previously expected to be close to the 2019 level.

In addition, the company predicts that capacity in the third quarter will be around 87 percent of the level for the same quarter in 2019. For the fourth quarter, it is expected to be 90 percent.

Easyjet has suffered from the same staffing problems as other airlines, resulting in delays and cancelled flights.
