In the desert of the US state of Texas, the El Cosmico campsite is expanding its operations with a hotel village printed by a huge 3D printer.

The hotel village is called ”El Cosmico 2.0” and is described as the world’s first 3D-printed hotel. The design is by Bjarke Ingels Group and the company Icon, using its enormous 3D printer Vulcan, is taking care of the construction of the small cabins for the hotel village.

El Cosmico 2.0 is expected to open for booking sometime in 2026. Prices are expected to range from $200-$450 per night. The slideshow below includes images of both the Vulcan 3D printer and an image of what the building looks like today.
