Elon Musk's Starlink satellite network will provide SAS travelers with internet in the future, the company announced in a press release.
According to SAS Sales Manager Paul Verhagen, fewer interruptions in connection are expected.
”"Whether flying across the Atlantic or the North Sea, our passengers can now count on a connection that is as stable and trouble-free as it is fast," he says in the press release.
The Starlink satellite network is a sub-unit of Elon Musk's space company Space X. The network, which has thousands of satellites, provides people with internet access in the most remote places in the world.
According to SAS, they will start introducing this at the end of the year.
