
Emirates is now introducing additional flights to Australia and New Zealand, the increase is another step towards returning to 100 percent capacity after the pandemic.
Emirates is now expanding its hub destinations Dubai and Singapore, as well as Melbourne, with two and three additional flights respectively, effective from 26 March, following the airline’s increased demand for flights to Australia. In addition, a third direct route to Sydney will be launched from 1 May. The increase also includes a doubling of daily flights to Brisbane, starting from 1 June. The routes will be operated by Boeing-777 300ER aircraft and will offer passengers Economy, Business and First class.
“Now offering a third daily flight to Sydney and Melbourne means over 500,000 extra seats to and from Australia, over a year. Sydney – Dubai: Now a third daily direct flight
From 1 May 2023, Emirates will offer a third daily flight between Dubai and Sydney, using a Boeing 777-300ER. Emirates flight EK416 departs Dubai at 9.30pm and arrives in Sydney at 5.20pm the following day. The return flight EK417 departs Sydney at 8.10pm and arrives in Dubai at 4.30am.
Melbourne – Dubai: Now a third daily route via Singapore
Emirates will introduce a third daily flight to Melbourne, via Singapore, from 26 March 2023. Emirates flight EK404, a Boeing 777-300ER, will depart Dubai at 21:15 and arrive in Singapore at 08:50. The flight will then continue to Melbourne departing from Singapore at 10:25 and arriving at 20:35 local time. The return flight to Dubai for EK405 will depart Melbourne at 03:25 and arrive in Singapore at 08:15. The flight will then depart Singapore for Dubai at 09:40 and arrive at 13:00 local time.
Christchurch – Dubai: Now air traffic to Christchurch via Sydney
Emirates will resume its flights to Christchurch via Sydney from 26 March 2023, with Airbus A380 aircraft operating as EK412 and EK413. Emirates flight EK412 will depart Dubai at 10:15 and arrive in Sydney at 07:00. The flight will then continue, departing Sydney at 08:45 and arriving in Christchurch at 13:50. EK413 will then depart Christchurch at 18:20, arriving in Sydney at 19:40 and then departing Dubai at 21:45 and arriving at 05:15 local time.
