Emirates will introduce Premium Economy on Stockholm flights before the end of 2026. An upgraded Boeing 777 will be deployed on the route as early as October, as part of the airline's ongoing renewal of its cabin products.
Stockholm will be one of six additional destinations where Emirates will introduce Premium Economy before the end of the year.
The change is preceded by the company starting to operate services to Stockholm in October with an upgraded Boeing 777. The exact date for when Premium Economy will begin to be offered on the Stockholm route is not clear from the documentation.
104 aircraft have been rebuilt
Emirates says that 104 aircraft have so far undergone the company's upgrade program, including 53 Boeing 777s and 51 Airbus A380s.
According to Emirates, Premium Economy and the latest cabin products are available on a total of 137 aircraft. By the end of the year, the company expects the number to have increased to 155.
Premium Economy is currently offered on flights to 90 destinations in the Emirates network.
Starlink on nearly 50 aircraft
In parallel, Emirates continues to install Starlink for onboard internet connectivity. According to the company, nearly 50 aircraft have been equipped with the system so far.
Emirates also states that demand ahead of the winter season remains strong. During July and August, a total of more than 8.6 million passengers traveled with the airline.
New line to Helsinki
At the same time, Emirates is expanding its network in the Nordics. On October 1, the company will open a new direct route between Dubai and Helsinki.
The route will be operated with Airbus A350.
