Employee's mistake halted thousands of flights

Remove

An employee error was behind the cancellation of thousands of flights across the United States last week. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), it has now emerged that it was all about an employee accidentally deleting a series of data files, which ultimately created chaos. For several hours, pilots were unable to access the computer system known as NOTAM, which is responsible for issuing flight warnings.

Initially, there was speculation about a hacker attack, something that was dismissed by the White House, and now it turned out to be about the "human factor.".
