15 passengers and two crew members are on board a ferry where the engine has failed between Björkö and Öckerö in the Gothenburg archipelago.
The Swedish Maritime Administration's rescue helicopter, the Coast Guard and the Swedish Maritime Administration's rescue helicopter are on site at the ferry, which has been drifting about 150 meters from Björkö since 12 noon.
– The engine stopped and it was windy, then it ran aground, says Carl-Johan Tylegård, maritime rescue leader at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
Now the ferry will be towed to Öckerö.
