England delays opening – concerns about increased spread of infection

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is postponing the reopening of England for four weeks due to increased concerns about the rapid spread of the delta variant of the coronavirus.

The new date for the reopening of society is July 19th. 

”"If we are careful now, thousands of lives will be saved," Johnson said at a press conference.
