Etihad Airways continues its expansion in the US and has now launched a new route to Charlotte.

The new route connects Abu Dhabi with Charlotte Douglas International Airport and began operating in March 2026.

The flights operate several times a week, providing travelers from the southeastern United States with seamless connections to destinations in Asia and the Middle East via Etihad's global network.

The move makes Charlotte the airline's sixth destination in the United States and marks a continued aggressive expansion in the North American market.

The new route will be operated with modern long-haul aircraft such as the Boeing 787 or Airbus A350, with a focus on both passenger and cargo traffic.
