The European Commission has found that the Danish and Swedish states' participation in SAS's restructuring process is compatible with applicable EU state aid rules. The approval is another important step forward for SAS's transformation plan and ongoing restructuring proceedings.

The entry into force of SAS's Chapter 11 plan remains dependent on the fulfillment of various conditions, including various regulatory approvals and the successful implementation of SAS AB's corporate restructuring in Sweden.
