Eurowings is launching two new direct routes for the summer of 2024. The new routes will serve Hanover (HAJ) and Naples (NAP), respectively, and will be added to the wide range of destinations already served by Eurowings from the airport.

Eurowings continues its expansion in Sweden and at Swedavia's Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The new direct routes to Hanover and Naples will be a welcome addition to the total range of destinations at Stockholm Arlanda and strengthen accessibility to both Germany and Italy from the Swedish capital. Since first establishing their Swedish base in the summer of 2022, Eurowings has added a variety of different destinations to its range, which now totals thirteen.

– It is very pleasing that Eurowings is now expanding its offering at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Swedavia's primary goal is to enable people to meet, whether for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, and Eurowings with its extensive network plays an important role in this, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia. Eurowings' investment shows that there is both great trust and interest in the Swedish air travel market, and they are an important partner in connecting Sweden with well-established markets in Europe, she says.

– We are proud to expand our Eurowings network from Sweden and add two new routes from Stockholm Arlanda, to Hanover and to Naples. Being able to offer our Swedish customers an attractive route network of affordable flights from northern to southern Europe and further out into the world is important to us at Eurowings, states Michael Haendel, Head of Route Development and Airport Relations at Eurowings. The Swedish market perfectly matches the affordable quality concept that Eurowings provides. We look forward to expanding our network in the future to offer a wide range of destinations for both tourism and business from Arlanda and drive the pan-European growth of Eurowings from Sweden, he says.

Starting on May 1, Eurowings will operate Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Hannover (HAJ) twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Naples (NAP) will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, starting on June 14. Eurowings operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft in Stockholm.
