Expo 2025 will take place from 13 April to 13 October in Osaka on the theme ”Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. Sweden is participating in the exhibition and HM the King is leading the Swedish delegation. The delegation includes Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa together with representatives from Swedish business, Swedish authorities, academia, research and the creative industries.

On the agenda for the day are the official celebration together with the Japanese host organization, a large business seminar, and various activities promoting Sweden. Approximately 28 million visitors are expected to visit the world exhibition, of which 1.7 million are expected to visit the Nordic pavilion.
