Extreme heat in France – tourist attractions close

A new heat wave has swept across France and a red warning for extreme heat has been issued in several departments. 

In Paris it could reach 37 degrees on Saturday afternoon, according to Météo-France. 

The Eiffel Tower will close early on Saturday and Sunday and the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay museums have also changed their opening hours this weekend, writes Le Figaro.
