Falkenberg invests heavily in physical tourist offices

Several major cities are closing their physical tourist offices as more and more of their services to tourists are done online. Falkenberg is doing the opposite and this summer they are investing in four tourist offices around the municipality in specific hot spots.

– For us, it is a perfect fit to work with that meeting, says Fredrik Janson, CEO of Destination Falkenberg.

In June, a new staffed booth was placed where tourists can get help – in the middle of Fegen. The municipality also has tourist offices in Ullared, on Skrea beach and in the center of Falkenberg.

In addition to guiding people in the right direction, Fredrik Janson believes that the Tourist Office fulfills an important function in ticket sales, not least during the pandemic.
