Hotel chain Scandic announces that the number of layoffs in the chain's Danish operations will be fewer than previously communicated.

Two weeks ago, Scandic announced that it was about 250 employees, now that number has shrunk to 170. Voluntary layoffs and working hour reductions have contributed to the new figures, according to Scandic, which has a total of 2,000 employees in Denmark.
