Train crash in France – one dead

At least one person has died and several others have been injured in a train accident in France, according to reports. TF1 Info.

A high-speed train is said to have collided with the trailer of a lorry at a railway crossing on Tuesday morning in the municipality of Noeux-les-Mines in northern France. 

The train driver died in the accident and at least 27 people were injured, according to police sources, the French news channel reports. 

The lorry driver was seriously injured.

The train, which was travelling between Dunkirk and Paris, derailed after the collision.
