Fäviken Magasinet in Jämtland regains first place on the Swedish White Guides master class list.
Last year's number one, and also Sweden's only three-star restaurant, Frantzén in Stockholm, slips down to third place.
In between, in second place, is Daniel Berlin Krog in Skåne-Tranås, which, like Magnus Nilsson's Fäviken (one for the first time in 2015), has two stars in the French Michelin Guide. This means that four of the ten best restaurants in Sweden, including the two best, are located in the countryside. The top ten, which is called the Global Master Class, also includes PM & Vänner in Växjö and Krakas Krog on Gotland.
At the very top, there are small margins that separate the restaurants. White Guide ranks Sweden's best restaurants primarily by food points (maximum 40) and secondarily by total points (maximum 100).
