The Finnish state is preparing to distribute a hybrid loan worth up to 400 million euros to the airline Finnair, according to a press release.
Finnair is preparing for a range of different scenarios in 2021 and aims to rebuild the network, the company writes.
”The loan facility will help us safely get through the pandemic regardless of which of these scenarios is realized,” says CEO Topi Manner.
The arrangement must be approved by the European Commission before funds can be lent. Terms of the loan will be decided at an upcoming government meeting, Finnair writes.
