Finnair continues to strengthen its route network and now announces that the new destinations Luxembourg, Valencia and Turin will be served year-round. The destinations were originally presented as summer routes for 2026 – but are now extended to apply to all seasons.

Year-round connections ensure smooth and reliable travel options regardless of the season,” says Antti Tolvanen, Senior Vice President, Network and Revenue Optimisation at Finnair.

More departures and better connections

Luxembourg is an important market with both business travelers and transfer passengers onward to Finnair's global network via Helsinki.
The number of departures will increase from three per week during the summer to four per week during the winter season.

Valencia offers a sunny city break even in the middle of winter. The route continues with four departures per week even during the winter.

Turin, located near the Western Alps, is a popular destination for winter sports.
• One departure per week during the winter
• Two departures per week during peak winter sports season (January–March)
• Three departures per week during the summer

Stavanger and Umeå continue year-round

The previously announced routes to Stavanger and Umeå will also become permanent year-round destinations.

  • Stavanger: Nine departures per week next winter
    • Six departures from Helsinki via Stockholm Arlanda Airport
    • Three direct flights to Stavanger
    • All return flights go via Stockholm, which also strengthens traffic between Stavanger and Stockholm.
  • Umeå: Ten departures per week in winter, via Vaasa
