Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards are launching a new loyalty partnership. Members can exchange points between the programs and Finnair Plus members will have the opportunity to match their membership level to Radisson Rewards.

The partnership means that Radisson Rewards points can be converted into Avios, the points currency of Finnair Plus. It will also be possible to exchange Avios in the opposite direction to Radisson Rewards points.

This means that members can use the value from one of the programs for, among other things, flights or hotel stays.

Matches membership levels

Another part of the collaboration is status matching from Finnair Plus to Radisson Rewards.

Finnair Plus members at Silver and Gold levels can be matched to Radisson Rewards Premium. Platinum or Platinum Lumo members have the opportunity to be matched to Radisson Rewards VIP.

According to the companies, the benefits from the new hotel status will begin to apply immediately after status matching has been completed.

A limited number of Radisson Rewards Premium and VIP members will also be able to gain status in Finnair Plus. This opportunity is by invitation only and includes Silver, Gold and Platinum levels.

Will link flights and hotels

For Radisson, the partnership means a connection to Finnair's flight network and loyalty program in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Radisson Hotel Group states that the hotel network includes 1,600 hotels in more than 100 countries.

Finnair Plus has previously used Avios as its points currency.

“Our ambition is to create value for our members not only when they fly with us but throughout their entire journey. Through this collaboration, our members can collect Avios when they stay at Radisson Hotels and receive a free status match,” says Gerben Sikkema, Vice President Loyalty at Finnair.
