Finnish airline Finnair is cancelling 550 flights in connection with the extensive Finnish strike on 1-2 February, which was announced previously.
The airline states in a press release that it operates around 280 flights per day, meaning that only a few flights will take place during the strike period.
Passengers will be offered rebooking to other dates or flights with other airlines, writes Finnair. The general strike, which is a protest against the government's planned amendments to labour market reforms, is estimated to affect large parts of Finnish society, in addition to air and bus traffic, also schools, industry, as well as healthcare.
