Finnish airline Finnair reports an adjusted operating profit of EUR 94 million for the third quarter of this year. This compares with EUR 35 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
Analysts had expected an increase in profits, on average, but only by around 86 million euros, according to a compilation of forecasts by Bloomberg.
Net sales rose 14 percent to 817 million euros, which was slightly more than expected.
The company also confirms its forecast of a significant boost in revenue in 2023, although not quite up to 2019 levels.
