Finnair continues to cancel flights. On Monday, around 7,200 passengers are expected to be affected when around 100 departures are canceled.

Finnair allows affected customers to rebook trips on July 7th without a surcharge, the company writes in a press release.

Finnair has been forced to cancel flights for several days – both in June and now at the beginning of July. The background is that the union Airline Workers' Union (IAU) has called a strike due to an ongoing dispute with the airline. 

The union has also called for strikes on July 16, 18, 21, and 23, according to Finnair. The airline says the potential effects of these measures are still being evaluated but are expected to be smaller than in early July.
