Finnish airline Finnair flew 487,000 passengers in November, which was 473 percent more than in the pandemic-hit month of November 2020.

This is stated in a press release.

Compared to October, the increase was 12 percent, but these figures are not completely comparable as October contains one more day than November.

Covid restrictions are still affecting operations, particularly in traffic to and from Asia and across the Atlantic, Finnair writes. However, traffic was open to both the US and Thailand from Finland and Sweden, which increased passenger numbers.

Capacity in available seat kilometers, the metric known as ASK, grew by 397 percent compared to November 2020 and by 22 percent compared to October.

Revenue per seat kilometer (RPK) grew by 803 percent compared to November 2020 and by 21 percent compared to October.
