A total of 1,361,100 passengers flew with Finnair last month. This is 12.9 percent more than in August 2018, according to Finnair's monthly figures.
Capacity, ASK, in turn rose 9.3 percent while the cabin factor increased 2.6 percentage points to 86.8 percent.
Finnair canceled four long-haul flights and several domestic and European flights due to technical problems and weather conditions.
A total of 76.9 percent of planned flights were carried out during the month, while punctuality landed at 82.5 percent.
