Finnair has been named Best Airline in Northern Europe in the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026. This is the 16th consecutive year that the airline has received the award. Finnair also received the award for Best Cabin Crew in Northern Europe.

The awards are presented by Skytrax and, according to the organization, are based on an extensive international passenger survey.

Finnair has received the award for best airline in Northern Europe every year since 2011. In this year's edition, the company was also awarded the award for best cabin crew in the region.

“This recognition means a lot to everyone at Finnair. We are grateful for the trust our customers have shown us,” says Simon Large, Chief Customer Officer at Finnair.

Skytrax is based on passenger reviews

The World Airline Awards are organized by the airline industry rating organization Skytrax and are based on feedback from travelers from different parts of the world.

Finnair states that the company continues to invest in, among other things, digital services, customer service, cabin product, fleet renewal and product development.

The awards apply to the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026.
