Finnair is resuming regular traffic between Helsinki and Shanghai after the Finnish company received a new permit from Chinese authorities, Finnair writes in a press release.

There will be one Finnair flight to Shanghai per week starting Thursday, July 23.

Finland has opened its border for work-related travel from China, but travelers from China are still restricted by the EU's border closure with China.

Finnair has also increased the number of flights per day to 80–90, to over 30 different destinations. According to the company, both the number of flights and the frequency of flights will increase in August–September.
