Finnish airline Finnair had revenue of EUR 749 million (550) in the second quarter of 2023. Comparable profit was EUR 66.2 million (-84.2).

Cash amounted to EUR 1,531 million at the end of the period, compared to EUR 1,524 million on December 31, 2022.

Finnair is clarifying its forecast, which was given in a so-called reverse profit warning on June 13. The company now predicts that comparable profit in 2023 will be in the range of EUR 150-210 million. Previously, the forecast was that profit would reach and perhaps even exceed the 2019 level of EUR 163 million. Otherwise, the forecasts for capacity and revenue given on June 13 are maintained.
