Finnair cancels flights this winter – closure of Russian airspace the reason

Finnair has made new changes to its traffic plan for the winter of 2022-2023 due to the war in Ukraine and the closure of Russian airspace. 

This is stated in a press release. 

Among other things, all flights to Krabi in Thailand and Chicago in the USA are being cancelled for the winter. In addition, direct flights from Arlanda to New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Bangkok and Phuket are being terminated.
