Finnish airline Finnair's passenger numbers fell to 85,000 in November, which was 92.2 percent fewer than the corresponding period in 2019 and 15.6 percent fewer than in October 2020.
The Covid-19 effect, including the exceptionally strict restrictions imposed by Finland, continued to affect all passenger traffic metrics.
Total capacity measured in available seat kilometers (ASK) decreased by 88.9 percent compared to November 2019. On average, 81 daily flights were operated (including cargo only), which was 23.4 percent down compared to November 2019.
The differences between capacity figures are explained by shorter flights and the use of smaller aircraft compared to November 2019.
Finnair's traffic measured in revenue per passenger kilometer (RPK) decreased by 96.3 percent. The passenger load factor (PLF) decreased by 51.7 percentage points to 25.4 percent.
