Finnair's passenger numbers continue to rise

Finnish airline Finnair increased the number of passengers by 11.4 percent in April.

A total of 1,069,500 passengers were transported. The previous month, the growth was 17.2 percent, according to a press release.

Measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), the Finnish airline increased its traffic by 15.4 percent during the month, compared to the same month the previous year. The increase was 23.4 percent last month. Capacity, measured as ASK, increased by 15.7 percent, while the passenger load factor fell by 0.2 percentage points to 82.6 percent.
