
Finnair's operations continue to be heavily affected by the shutdowns that have occurred in the wake of COVID-19, according to traffic figures for January, released on Friday morning.
Finnair flew 86,000 passengers in January, 92 percent fewer than the same month in 2020 and 7.5 percent fewer than in December 2020.
None of the company's aircraft operated routes to North America during the month.
Capacity measured as available seat kilometers (ASK) decreased by 90 percent and measured as revenue per seat kilometer (RPK), traffic decreased by 97 percent.
