The Finnish Pilots' Association SLL's announced strike on December 9 and 13 means that around 300 flights will have to be cancelled, according to the airline Finnair.

Individual flights in the days before and after the strikes may also be affected.

”"The pilot strike is expected to affect an estimated 33,000 Finnair customers," the airline writes in a press release.

The airline will offer alternative flights to as many customers as possible.

Affected passengers will be informed about cancelled flights as soon as a decision has been made. They will also receive suggestions for new routes in Finnair's booking system and the airline's app.

If suitable replacement travel cannot be found, customers can apply for a refund of the ticket price from the airline or from the travel agency that sold the ticket.
