A gas tank is reported to have exploded at Östersund Airport.
According to Östersunds-Posten The explosion occurred at a hangar next to the police aircraft.
– There is smoke at the scene, but people were reportedly able to get away from there, says police spokesperson Åsa Mjörndal.
The fire service has been on site and extinguished the fire.
– It was a violent fire and burned quickly. It was like an explosion, says internal commander Henrik Jönsson.
– We have extinguished the fire but remain to ensure that it does not return.
