Monday could bring sunshine in many parts of the country.
On Wednesday there is a risk of gale force winds on Gotland. Dry air is heading south across the country. This will lead to chances of sunshine in many places, according to SMHI. However, it will not lead to any high temperatures.
– There is colder air, so the temperature is expected to be ten degrees at most, says Sofia Söderberg at SMHI.
There may be some snow showers in the mountains.
SMHI has issued class 1 warnings for gale winds from the central Baltic Sea to the northern Bothnian Sea.
– Late this evening and overnight towards Tuesday, rain will pass over the southern part of the country, says Söderberg.
It will also be windy in the near future, especially in coastal areas.
– As the area with rain approaches this evening, the wind is expected to increase along the coast and it may gradually become windy on Gotland during Wednesday, says SMHI, which is warning that there is a risk of storm gusts of 25 meters per second.
The forecast is uncertain, and may be replaced by a warning if it becomes more certain.
