First, the passengers had to change planes, then Easyjet had to unload the bags from the plane, as they were too heavy. After a two-hour delay, the passengers were able to board the plane that was to fly between London and Tenerife.
”"That's when the poop accident happened," one traveler tells CNN.
Suddenly, a foul smell spread throughout the plane. Someone had pooped on the floor and the departure was canceled.
The atmosphere on the plane was described as "uncomfortable" but there was reportedly no commotion. Most passengers assumed it was an accident.
Easyjet has confirmed that the flight was cancelled for "safety reasons" and that extra cleaning of the plane was required.
