A Norwegian flight en route to Mallorca had to turn back to Copenhagen on Saturday morning, reports Ekstrabladet.

The plane took off at 6:30 a.m. but never left Danish airspace. An hour later it landed again.

– I can confirm that it has returned and landed without any problems at the airport, says Jens Ehlers, press advisor at Copenhagen Airport, to the newspaper.

The reason was a technical error and the airline is now investigating how to compensate affected passengers.
