Norwegian airspace was closed from Røros, approximately at the same height as Sundsvall, and northwards for several hours during the day, the aviation authority Avinor announced. The reason was technical problems with air traffic control.

Flights that are in the air are allowed to land at the airport they are going to, but no flights are allowed to take off north of Røros, said Kristian Løksa at Avinor.

But at 1:30 p.m., Avinor announced that the error had been found and that the airspace would be reopened.
