FAA lifts national flight suspension in the US

The US aviation authority FAA has decided to lift the national flight ban that was imposed as a result of an IT failure earlier in the day, according to a press release.

Normal operations are gradually restarting across the United States after last night's problems, which particularly affected safety systems needed to coordinate pilots and air traffic control to avoid hazards and safety risks.

”"We are continuing our investigation into what happened," the FAA wrote.
