The Gore family had packed up for a sun-soaked vacation on the Costa Brava outside Barcelona. But when they landed on the plane, they ended up 2,400 kilometers wrong – in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas.
When the British couple discovered they had been placed on the wrong Ryan Air plane, they felt "devastated", reports BBC.
Bristol Airport is now investigating what went wrong.
– When I woke up, it didn't look like Spain outside the window, I turned on my phone and it said 'Welcome to Lithuania', Andrew Gore tells the BBC.
