Flixtrain is cancelling all train journeys between Gothenburg and Stockholm indefinitely, reports P4 Gothenburg.

The reason is that the train company is having problems with the maintenance of its train carriages.

It is unclear when the trains can start running again, according to the company's customer service for P4.

Previously, SJ has reduced its services, including between Gothenburg and Stockholm. In SJ's case, the issue is long queues at the workshops when many trains require de-icing simultaneously. This in turn means that the scheduled stops cannot be carried out as planned.

SJ has previously stated that reduced traffic will also be necessary during February and March to some extent.
